INTERACTION: This chapter centers on the importance of interaction in the classroom. For example, Gerald Graff believes that "talk about books and subjects is as important educationally as are the books and subjects themselves." Brainstorm a list with a partner of the benefits you think are gained from getting ELL students interacting with each other around both language and content topics.
